Privacy Policy

Montana Co., Ltd. (the "Company") takes good care of your personal information while running the NIBB service. This policy explains what information we collect and why, where it goes, and when we delete it.
① NIBB can be used without signing up. We don't ask for your name or email at the start.
② We do not collect personal information from anyone under 14. We don't ask for their email, and we don't offer payment to them.
1. Information We Collect

Your writing is kept on our servers even if you never post it to the Square. This is so you can pick up where you left off, even after switching devices or adding the app to your home screen. Writing you haven't posted is never visible to other users. It's kept regardless of whether you're a member, and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see section 8). Writing in progress is also saved automatically (roughly every 45 seconds while you write, and whenever you leave the screen).
We do not collect national ID numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, home addresses, or payment card details. Payment information is handled directly by our payment provider, and the Company cannot view it.
2. Why We Use This Information
- To provide the service — today's topic, missions, dissections, saving your writing, posting to the Square, and streak tracking
- To provide the AI coaching features (see section 4 below)
- To verify members, process payments and send receipts, and respond to inquiries
- To handle misuse and reports, and to keep the service stable
- To promote NIBB — using writing you've posted to the Square in ads or introductions (see section 5 of the Terms of Service). Only the text is used; your name, nickname, age group, and location are never included. We never use writing from accounts set to "Child." Tell us and we'll leave it out
We do not sell personal information. That said, we use Meta's measurement tools to check whether our ads are actually working. What gets shared and how to turn it off is explained in section 6 below.
3. How Long We Keep It
- Account information — until you ask us to delete it
- Writing you've submitted — until you delete it. Deleting it removes it from the Square immediately
- Report records — 1 year after the report is resolved
- Payment and contract records required under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce are kept for the period set by that law (e.g., 5 years)
4. ⚠️ Notice About AI Processing
Anthropic publicly states that it does not use content received through its API to train its models. Please check Anthropic's policy for details. We recommend you avoid including sensitive personal information — real names, contact details, ID numbers — in your writing.

Transfers happen whenever you use the relevant feature, and are made over the network. If you'd rather not have your data transferred, simply avoid using those features (AI scoring, payment).
6. Visit Analytics and Ad Performance Measurement
We use two measurement tools to understand how people find NIBB, and whether people who saw an ad actually started writing.
- Meta's (Facebook/Instagram) measurement tool — measures whether you came from an ad.
- Google Analytics — measures whether you came via search, a link, or an ad.
- What's shared — screens visited, referral source, the fact that sign-up or payment occurred and the amount, a one-way hashed email if you signed up, browser type, IP address
- What's never shared — the content of your writing, your scores, your name, your age group
Neither tool is attached to accounts set to "Child."
If you'd rather not be tracked, you can turn on your browser's tracking protection, or turn it off in "Ad Preferences" on Meta or "My Ad Center" on Google. Turning it off doesn't affect any NIBB feature.
7. Children Under 14
- For users who select "Child" as their age group, we never ask for any contact information, including email.
- We don't show them any payment screens.
- The worldwide public Square stays locked until a guardian unlocks it with an invite code. This process takes the place of parental consent.
- A guardian can disconnect at any time or ask for a child's writing to be deleted.
8. Your Rights
You can ask to view, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your personal information. You can delete writing or change your nickname directly within the app. For anything else, please contact us using the details below, and we'll handle it without delay. For children under 14, a legal guardian may make these requests.
9. Disposal
Once the retention period ends or the purpose of processing is complete, we dispose of the information without delay. Electronic files are deleted using methods that cannot be recovered.
10. Safety Measures
- Encrypted transmission (HTTPS)
- Minimal access privileges — admin functions can only be accessed with a separate key
- Any writing reported by two different people is immediately made private

12. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post a notice in the service at least 7 days before it takes effect (30 days if the change is unfavorable to users).
